Terps Beat Out SEC Suitors For Florida WR Caldwell

Maryland won a significant recruiting battle on the Fourth of July when the Terps landed high three-star receiver Kyren Caldwell (Columbia/Lake City, Fla.) over finalists Alabama and Mississippi State. The 6-foot-1.5, 185-pounder seemed destined for the Tide after a foray to Tuscaloosa, Ala., but the Terps’ staff pushed hard for the Florida product and ultimately won out.
