Louisiana WR Fontenot Flips From Pitt To Maryland

Maryland added its fourth receiver commitment June 23 in Alexandria (La.) mid-level three-star receiver Alex Fontenot. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder originally committed to Pittsburgh following an official visit on May 30, but Fontenot elected to follow through on a June 11 official to College Park, Md., which prompted him to flip.

One of the main reasons Fontenot pledged to the Panthers initially was to play with quarterback commit Kevin Verpaele.
