Maryland secured its highest-rated commitment of the 2027 recruiting cycle thus far in four-star safety Kenaz Sullivan (St. James/Springfield, Va.). The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder was on his official visit to College Park, Md., June 18-20 and chose to pledge to the Terps before leaving campus. He picked UMD over Florida, Tennessee and Ohio State, three other schools he took in.
UMD assistants Aazaar Abdul-Rahim and James Thomas led the recruitment and were in constant communication with Sullivan.
